Professional design clubs are back, but they look a little different
Inside the clubs taking over the industry, one meetup at a time.
In late October, a group of 15 or so people—recent architecture school grads, interior designers, journalists, real estate developers—gathered in a construction office, grabbed hard hats, and walked into the buzzing building site for the National Black Theater and Ray Harlem, a mixed-use affordable housing development on 125th street and Fifth Avenue.
